Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to provide leadership and oversight for commercial development projects throughout the Sacramento region. This role offers hands-on responsibility for the successful execution of office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, warehouses, multi-family housing, high-end residential, and medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work, process RFIs and change orders, coordinate material procurement, and supervise subcontractors and vendors. Responsibilities also include conducting regular onsite inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, and managing single or multiple concurrent projects typically valued between $5 million and $20 million, from rough grade through project closeout.

Candidate Profile

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience. A minimum of eight years of hands-on construction management experience, including at least four years in commercial construction, is required. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and MS Project, are essential.
