Party Chief – Land Surveying

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a skilled Party Chief to lead and manage 2–4 person land survey field crews across the Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina area. This position provides critical field leadership and the opportunity to ensure precise data collection for a variety of commercial and residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Party Chief will direct field survey teams, coordinate daily operations, and ensure that equipment, personnel, and resources are fully prepared for each assignment. You will collaborate closely with in-office staff to assess project requirements, operate Leica, Trimble robotic, and total station equipment, and ensure the accurate transfer of field data for analysis, reporting, and project delivery.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience managing field survey teams, hold an Associate’s Degree, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience, and preferably have NC PLS or LSIT registration. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
