Land Surveyor, PLS – Project Manager

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) and Project Manager to lead complex land surveying initiatives in the oil and gas, power, and civil/utility sectors across Midland, Texas. This position offers full oversight of both in-office and field operations, allowing the successful candidate to manage high-profile projects and influence the strategic growth of a dynamic surveying team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will develop project plans, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure the accurate preparation of surveys, including boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and topographical surveys. You will supervise and mentor field crews, collaborate closely with engineering and project teams, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all project deliverables meet quality standards and industry compliance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of progressive land surveying experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline, and active PLS registration in Texas. Proficiency with Civil 3D, Trimble, and Total Station equipment is required. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
