Land Surveyor – PLS

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to assume a leadership role within a growing land surveying team. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex surveying projects while providing strategic direction to field crews and supporting high-profile land development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead in-office surveying operations, manage project workflows, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include preparing boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and topographical surveys, while coordinating closely with engineering staff to support integrated project delivery.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of land surveying experience, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline, and active PLS registration in Pennsylvania and/or Ohio. Proficiency with Civil 3D, Trimble surveying equipment, and other industry-standard software is required. Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills are essential.
