Civil Engineer, EIT – Design Engineering

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is conducting a confidential search for a Civil Engineer / Design Engineer to play a key role in planning and engineering design for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments throughout the greater Seattle area. This is a hands-on role with opportunity for technical growth and progression toward full licensure.

Key Responsibilities

The Design Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineering staff assisting in the planning and design of site layouts and utility infrastructure, performing hydraulic and grading calculations to ensure efficient land use, preparing and reviewing engineering plans, developing schedules and coordinating with local and regional agencies for approvals. The role also involves supporting construction administration activities as needed.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and possess EIT certification in Washington, with a path toward full PE licensure. Four or more years of land development experience is required, including site design, utilities (including street, sewer, water, and storm drainage), grading, and hydraulic calculations. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering modeling software, along with strong communication and technical skills, is essential.
