Architect – Production Housing

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is conducting a confidential executive search for a leading U.S. residential development organization seeking an accomplished Architect to lead the design and project management of single-family and multi-family production housing communities nationwide. This role offers a strategic leadership platform for a design professional to deliver high-quality, scalable housing projects while mentoring and guiding multidisciplinary teams throughout the eastern United States.

Key Responsibilities

As the Architect of record, you will assume a leadership position with responsibility for all project management activities. This includes hands-on drafting and design work, either through direct design efforts or by overseeing a project team to execute the full life cycle of design activities for production housing plans for homebuilders. Your duties will extend to conducting needs assessments, reviewing and ensuring compliance with local building codes, developing home designs tailored to individual communities (inclusive of architectural plans, elevations, and construction documents), estimating project costs, assessing construction feasibility, and overseeing physical construction as required. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing project timelines, budgets, and proposal development.

Candidate Profile

Candidates must be a Registered Architect (RA) with NCARB certification, with multi-state licensure strongly preferred. A minimum of eight years of experience in production home design and project management is required, with proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are critical for success in this nationwide, high-impact role.
