Project Engineer – Commercial Construction

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking a Project Engineer to provide engineering and construction management support on a variety of commercial construction projects across the Sacramento marketplace, including retail, restaurant, office, medical, multifamily, and senior living developments. This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated professional ready to grow within a respected project team.

Key Responsibilities

You will support project schedules, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, conduct cost estimating and bid analysis, and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including RFQs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Working collaboratively with project management, you will coordinate ground-up construction and complex renovation projects, monitor project progress, ensure budget compliance, perform site and quality inspections, and maintain thorough documentation through project completion and close-out.

Candidate Profile

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field and have at least three years of experience in project engineering or construction management. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to grow professionally are essential.
