Land Surveyor, PLS

Webuild (www.webuildstaffing.com) is seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead and manage complex land surveying projects across the oil and gas, power, and civil/utility sectors throughout Arizona. This role provides full project ownership and the opportunity to shape surveying operations for major regional developments.

Key Responsibilities

You will manage both in-office and field survey operations, oversee project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and provide guidance and supervision to field crews. You will also prepare boundary surveys, record plats, easements, construction stakeouts, as-builts, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and topographical surveys, collaborating closely with engineering and project management teams, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of experience in land surveying, a Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related discipline, and active PLS registration in Arizona. Proficiency with Civil 3D, Trimble, and Total Station equipment is required. Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential.
